Greeting

Longer, cheaper, safer

Phones, electric cars and grid storage next to solar farms — daily life leans more and more on batteries. AMPERE Lab changes the materials inside them so they last longer, cost less and do not catch fire.

We do everything in-house, from choosing elements to building pouch cells and cycling them thousands of times. Seeing how a material survives inside a real cell matters most to us.

We look for people who enjoy working between chemistry and engineering — making things by hand and checking them with data.

Principles

How we work

  1. 01

    Safety first

Lithium metal and sulfides are handled only in dry rooms and glove boxes.

  2. 02

    Down to the cell

We do not stop at powders — every material is tested in a pouch cell.

  3. 03

    Open data

Cycling data and analysis code are released with each paper.

  4. 04

    With industry

We test under industrial conditions so results transfer directly.
