Design sample

A university lab website design sample by Dicolab. MEDAI Lab is fictional — its university, people, projects, papers and posts are not real, and the slices are hand-drawn diagrams, not patient images. Design © Dicolab. Phantom data and code we built ourselves

As of Oct 2, 2026

Everything here is built from our own phantom, documents and code. A real site releasing patient data would first need ethics review, de-identification and an agreed scope (to be confirmed).

  1. Data

    Synthetic abdominal phantom slices 2.1

2,400 slices drawn from our own mathematical phantom, with labels for four organs. Not patient data.

    CC BY 4.0Updated Oct 2, 2026[Repository link]

  2. Doc

Organ segmentation annotation rules, 3rd ed.

How to draw ambiguous boundaries (around the portal vein, the renal hilum), with example figures.

    CC BY 4.0Updated Jul 8, 2026[Repository link]

  3. Code

    Uncertainty map code

Computes per-slice uncertainty maps and a review order from segmentation outputs.

    MITUpdated Jul 21, 2026[Repository link]

  4. Code

    Low-dose CT simulator

A research tool that produces noisy slices at different dose ratios.
